Base: Holmescarr, however post will be across Doncaster providing response

Contract Type: Permanent, Part time, 26.25 Hours per week, covering a 4 on 4 off rota pattern which includes weekends and bank holidays. The shift pattern is 2pm-10pm.

Do you have a positive approach to work and enjoy the challenge of a busy role?

An opportunity has arisen to join the HEART team as a Response Officer covering part time, 26.25-hour permanent post, on a rota-basis working a 4 on 4 off pattern, covering weekends and bank holidays as per set rota patterns.

A Response Officer is a varied role, and you will be expected to attend calls to assist people off the floor who may have fallen. The role may include personal care and will involve completing simple technical cases such as battery changes etc. Full training will be provided. You will be expected to drive & attend calls at people's houses as a lone worker, unless there is an identified risk where two or more people are required to attend. The ideal candidate will have a background in care & support or moving and handling and have the tech savvy ability to use & learn IT based and digital equipment, inclusive of programming. It would be advantageous to hold an NVQ2 in Care or equivalent within experience.

You will undertake a period of training and mentoring if you are a successful candidate to ensure you are fully equipped for the role.

To apply for the role, you must have a full manual UK licence as the work vehicles used are manual, and you will also a driver assessment as part of the recruitment process if you are a preferred candidate. We would also need to undertake an enhanced adults DBS as you would be working with a vulnerable group of people.
