What You'll Do
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across a varied project portfolio. You'll work closely with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes on every project.
Your responsibilities will include:

Producing detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security and renewable energy systems.

Leading the delivery of electrical engineering projects, ensuring they meet programme, budget and quality requirements.

Working directly with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical and effective design solutions.

Reviewing designs, calculations and specifications to maintain high technical standards across all project deliverables.

Supporting and mentoring junior engineers, helping them develop their technical knowledge and professional skills.

Incorporating sustainable and energy-efficient solutions into your designs.

Attending project meetings and site visits to support successful project delivery and implementation.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll have:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience delivering electrical design projects within a consultancy or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes and regulations, including BS 7671 and Building Regulations.

Experience using industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ElectricalOM, Amtech and Dialux.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Experience leading projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
Ideally, you'll be a Chartered Engineer or working towards professional registration with an appropriate institution.
