DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Payroll Analyst to play a vital role, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.
This role is to support the Central Payroll Team in all administrative aspects of the payroll process, ensuring compliance with DHL standards and the consistent application of statutory and regulatory payroll requirements across UK payroll operations. The role has a strong advisory and educational focus, working closely with sites to ensure payroll processes are managed consistently, accurately, and transparently.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
Manage and maintain control of the CCN process, liaising with Zellis, operational sites, and DHL Central Teams to ensure all CCNs are accurately documented, reviewed. Monitor progress, track outstanding actions, and ensure timely completion of all CCN-related activities.
Provide timely and effective support to Payroll Contacts by addressing and resolving payroll-related queries, including questions relating to pay calculations, payroll deductions, sickness payments, back pay calculation, and other payroll processes.
Provide support for overpayment escalation queries as part of BAU payroll activities. This includes validating overpayment calculations, responding to legal related queries, preparing and reviewing overpayment breakdowns, and ensuring that all payroll reporting is completed accurately and within required timescales. Basic technical payroll skills essential.
Assist the Central Payroll Team Managers with administrative tasks as and when required, support payroll checks before final payroll processing.
Apply and process the SDP/OCP's received by site. Managing Off Cycle payment process and making sure they are raised correctly and within agreed deadlines.

Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
Previous payroll experience (Essential)
Experience in manual calculations (Desired)
Good attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good telephone and conferencing ability
Working knowledge of payroll/statutory legislation
Ability to gather and correlate correct date
