Duties
- Develop, test, and deploy robust websites using modern frameworks such as React, wordpress.
- UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional web pages with responsive design principles.
- Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom RESTful or GraphQL web services to enhance application functionality.
- Maintain and optimize existing websites built on WordPress, Drupal, or custom platforms, ensuring high performance and SEO best practices.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Utilize version control systems like Git and GitHub for code management; implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for seamless deployment.
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews to ensure software quality; employ tools such as Visual Studio or WebStorm for development efficiency.
- Implement DevOps practices using Ansible, Docker, AWS, or Azure to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.
- Design intuitive UI/UX interfaces focusing on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal; leverage web design tools like Adobe XD or Figma.
- Optimize website performance through techniques like AJAX, SCSS/SASS styling, responsive web design, and SEO strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of codebases, system architecture diagrams, and project workflows using Jira or Trello.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including TypeScript), jQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX.
- Strong back-end development skills using PHP, Python (Django), C# (.NET), Node.js, Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker; experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB; proficiency in SQL queries is essential.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL APIs for data exchange between systems.
- Understanding of system architecture principles including MVC pattern; experience with server environments like Tomcat or IIS preferred.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git (GitHub) or SVN; experience with Jenkins for automated builds is advantageous.
- Ability to implement responsive web design techniques ensuring optimal performance across devices; familiarity with Web Services standards is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities; ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams using Jira or Trello.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in web analytics tools to monitor site performance is desirable.
