Our Finance Transformation programme is reshaping how Finance works across the Group, and this role offers the chance to play a hands-on part in designing a simpler, stronger and more future-ready payroll service.
As Business Process Analyst – Payroll Workstream, you will help turn detailed analysis into practical improvements that make payroll processes clearer, more consistent and easier to operate for the teams who rely on them.
This is a 2 year fixed-term contract to support the delivery of our Finance Transformation Programme.
In this role, you will help bring structure, insight and momentum to the Payroll workstream, supporting changes that improve how payroll is managed, governed and delivered across the Group.

Work with the Payroll Workstream Lead to coordinate activity, track actions and dependencies, and keep stakeholders aligned on progress,risks and key decisions.

Create clear process documentation that defines responsibilities, hand-offs, service expectations, controls and future ways of working.

Use analysis and continuous improvement techniques to identify where payroll activity can be simplified, standardised or strengthened, helping reduce duplication, remove waste and improve cycle times.

Contribute to the design of key payroll processes, including inputs, calculations, approvals, processing, reconciliations, statutory reporting, KPI definitions and governance requirements.

Support business readiness by helping define tool, workflow and control requirements and preparing structured materials for governance, stakeholder engagement and change activity.
About You
You will be someone who enjoys making sense of detail, bringing structure to complex activity and turning analysis into practical improvements. You should have experience in payroll, finance change, business analysis or project delivery, but most importantly you will be curious, organised and confident working with stakeholders across different teams.
