Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and innovative Web Developer - UI Designer to join our team. In this role, you will combine creative design expertise with technical development skills to build engaging, visually appealing, and highly functional digital experiences. You will play a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of websites and web-based applications while ensuring excellent usability and performance across all devices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design attractive and intuitive user interfaces that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Produce user flows, interactive prototypes, visual concepts, and design specifications for web projects.
- Build and maintain responsive websites and web applications that deliver a seamless user experience across various screen sizes and browsers.
- Translate design concepts into clean, efficient, and reusable front-end code.
- Work closely with clients, project managers, and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective digital solutions.
- Implement best practices for website accessibility, usability, and search engine visibility.
- Monitor, improve, and maintain the overall performance and functionality of existing web platforms.
- Ensure all digital assets adhere to company branding standards and visual guidelines.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve design or technical issues.
- Research emerging technologies, design trends, and development tools to continuously improve digital products.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in web design, front-end development, or a related digital role.
- Strong knowledge of user interface design principles and digital user experience best practices.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design techniques.
- Understanding of website optimisation techniques, including page speed improvement and technical SEO.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £31,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Leicester LE1 7EA
