Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased (Worksop)

Shift Pattern: 6am2pm / 2pm10pm (rotating shifts)
Location: Worksop

The Role

We are seeking an apprentice-trained, electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Worksop facility. You will provide breakdown and maintenance cover across a varied range of machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns promptly.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults systematically.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure equipment is handed back in a safe condition.
Support operator training and competence assessments.
Identify and implement machine and process improvements to enhance productivity.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong electrical knowledge: ability to read electrical drawings, fault-find logically, and work with circuits from 415V to 24VDC.
Experience with inverters, servo, and DC drives.
Understanding of pneumatics and ability to read mechanical drawings.
Previous experience in a factory environment.
Working knowledge of injection molding machinery is essential.

Qualifications

HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Team player with the ability to work independently.
