Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive Recruitment Administrator to support recruitment activities across the group. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, onboarding, and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process while also providing occasional HR administrative support across different departments.
This role requires at least 1 year of recruitment experience, excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, colleges, and external partners. Occasional travel to sister companies across the North West and East of England will be required to support recruitment needs.
Skills
· Minimum of 1 year’s recruitment experience is essential.
· Previous administration experience within recruitment or HR is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Confident engaging with candidates, managers, colleges, and external organisations.
· Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Experience using social media and online platforms for recruitment advertising.
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
· Professional, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
· Full UK driving licence essential.
· Willingness to travel occasionally to other company sites.
· Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
· Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
· Passionate about delivering a positive candidate experience.
Job Description
To include but not limited to:
· Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process across the group including integration to company houses and teams.
· Coordinating candidate onboarding experience and ensuring all new starter documentation is completed accurately. Liasing with payroll and the training department as required.
· Organising and assisting with selection methods and recruitment activities.
· Arranging and coordinating interviews with managers and candidates.
· Conducting site tours for prospective candidates.
· Supporting employee review processes and exit interviews.
· Posting recruitment content and vacancies via company social media platforms and website. Driving high volume applicants for factory vacancies, targeting platforms that are relevant to the industry.
· Working with agencies, partners and other external resources for new recruits.
· Attending external recruitment fairs, careers events, and networking opportunities both locally and nationally.
· Building and maintaining relationships with colleges, training providers, and apprenticeship organisations.
· Providing ad hoc HR administrative support across various departments and areas of the business
· Maintaining accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
· Ensuring all recruitment activities are completed in line with company procedures and employment legislation. A willingness to learn the hiring process for skilled workers and supporting them through the visa process.
Liasing with Immigration Solicitors with overseas recruits.
· Supporting recruitment initiatives at sister companies in the North West and North East of England as required
· Maintaining knowledge on employment legislation that is directly linked with recruitment or agency workers.
· Producing KPIs from recruitment activity (eg applicants v new starters).
