Location: Newbury / London / Stoke-on-Trent + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Duration: 6 Months Fixed Term Contract

What you’ll do

You’ll step into a truly career-defining opportunity, helping shape a brand-new partnership that brings together the UK’s largest mobile network capabilities. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering meaningful social impact—working closely with one of our largest public sector customers and internal teams to create innovative recruitment pathways that make a real difference. You’ll connect people, processes, and purpose, ensuring everything runs smoothly, compliantly, and with lasting impact.

You’ll help bring social value commitments to life by shaping clear delivery plans, governance frameworks, and practical ways of working
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of teams (Employee Relations, Legal, Security, Talent Acquisition and more) to ensure processes are aligned, compliant, and ready to deliver
You’ll act as a central connector between internal teams and external partners
You’ll support the setup and ongoing management of governance boards, ensuring decisions, risks, and actions are tracked and communicated clearly
You’ll translate programme commitments into realistic recruitment processes and future-ready job opportunities
You’ll map role types and help design job architecture that supports inclusive hiring approaches
You’ll monitor progress by tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies, providing clear insights to senior stakeholders
You’ll support change and engagement activities, helping teams understand and adopt new ways of working
You’ll continuously look for ways to improve processes, strengthen governance, and scale the programme for future initiatives

Who you are

You’ll bring experience in governance, programme delivery, project support, or operational implementation within a complex environment
You’ll feel confident working across multiple teams and senior stakeholders, bringing people together and building trusted relationships
You’ll have strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage plans, governance forums, risks, and reporting with attention to detail
You’ll be comfortable navigating regulated or high-governance environments, understanding recruitment processes, controls, and risk management
You’ll be able to translate policy and governance requirements into practical, workable processes
You’ll communicate clearly and collaborate effectively, ensuring alignment even when priorities differ
You’ll handle sensitive topics with professionalism, discretion, and integrity
You’ll bring a proactive mindset, spotting opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
Experience in role mapping, workforce planning, or job architecture will be an advantage
