About the Role
We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our production team on a permanent day-shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling high-quality stainless-steel products to precise specifications.
Experience within the catering, commercial kitchen, or food-service equipment sector would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding and fabrication of stainless-steel components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Cutting, forming, grinding, and finishing metal components
- Assembly and fitting of fabricated products
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
- Carrying out quality checks on completed work
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator
- Strong stainless-steel fabrication experience
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Skilled in sheet metal fabrication and finishing
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Desirable
- Experience within the catering equipment or food-service manufacturing sector
- Experience working with commercial kitchen fabrication
- Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications
