Bar Supervisor (with Cellar Management Experience)
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Bar Supervisor to join our team and help deliver exceptional service in a busy, friendly environment. If you’ve got a passion for hospitality and solid cellar management experience, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
As Bar Supervisor, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the bar. You’ll lead by example on shift, support the team, and take responsibility for maintaining high standards both front and back of house – including efficient cellar operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting the bar team during service
- Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Managing stock levels, deliveries, and ordering
- Overseeing cellar management – including line cleaning, stock rotation, and quality control
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and health & safety standards
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Opening and closing the venue when required
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting
- Proven Cellar Management Experience (essential)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of beers, ales, and cellar systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings and weekends
