Full job description

Overview
Booker & Best Ltd are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our busy and responsive maintenance team. The role involves delivering day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance services to clients within the social housing sector across the Sussex area.

You will be responsible for providing a high-quality, efficient service, working in occupied properties and ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

Duties

Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks
Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions
Work efficiently within a responsive maintenance team
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
Maintain clean and safe working environments in occupied properties
Accurately record work completed and communicate with office staff and clients
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Plumber within maintenance or similar environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
