Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling sheet metal components to a high standard. Mainly, working with stainless steel from 1-10mm thick components.

Duties

Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on all components to customer drawings
Fabricate metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions and designs
Operate machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
Assist in quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards

Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding and other welding processes
Experience working with sheet metal and fabrication techniques
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good organisational skills with attention to detail

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of welding, fabrication, and assembly processes, along with the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Pay: £14.50-£18.50 per hour
