Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Self Employed Courier to join our delivery team. This role involves managing your own schedule to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and a professional approach to customer service. As a self-employed individual, you will operate independently, providing flexible courier services that meet client needs efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collect parcels and goods from designated warehouses or depots in a timely manner
- Deliver items to specified addresses within agreed timeframes, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Manage your own schedule to optimise delivery routes and maximise efficiency
- Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries completed and any issues encountered during routes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant road safety and traffic regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with strong knowledge of commercial driving practices
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically handle parcels of varying sizes and weights
- Excellent communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members
- Organised with the ability to plan efficient routes and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated with a responsible attitude towards safety and punctuality
- Own vehicle suitable for courier duties, insured for commercial use if applicable

Pay: £800.00-£1,200.00 per week
