The Role
Working closely with the Compliance Manager and operational teams, you will play a key role in
maintaining compliance, supporting customer requirements, reducing the Cost of Poor Quality
(COPQ), and driving continuous improvement throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce COPQ
- Investigate non-conformances and shop floor issues, identifying root causes and implementing
corrective actions
- Apply structured problem-solving tools including 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys
- Create and manage customer documentation packs and quality records
- Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Conduct internal audits and support customer, supplier, and regulatory audits
- Raise and manage corrective actions and change notes
- Support customer complaint investigations and wider quality improvement activities
Essential Requirements
• Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage workload and work calmly under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Desirable Experience
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor qualification
- Experience in structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
- APQP knowledge including PPAP, Control Plans, DFMEA, and PFMEA
- Experience producing FAIRs to SAE International AS9102
- Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety, and Welding compliance requirements
