Full job description

Setyres is an expanding, long-established family-run company with over 20 branches across the region.

We are currently looking for a Skilled Mechanic / MOT Tester to provide cover across our depots within a designated area. This is an exciting and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys new challenges and working across multiple sites.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have several years’ experience working as a mechanic and will be able to demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude while completing work efficiently and to a high standard.

You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards, including:

Timing belts
Clutches
Exhaust systems
Suspension and steering components
Tyres and related repairs

This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent benefits and opportunities for progression.

Requirements:

Several years’ mechanical experience essential
MOT Tester qualification advantageous, but not essential
