Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Thermoplastic Highways Patching Operative to join our growing team. CIS scheme only

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out thermoplastic patching repairs on roads, footways and highways.
Operate thermoplastic boilers, hand tools and specialist application equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality, long-lasting repairs.
Assist with traffic management set-up and removal where required.
Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing the correct PPE.
Work as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard and on schedule.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (essential).
Experience in thermoplastic road marking or highway maintenance is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate.
CSCS card desirable.
Street Works (NRSWA) qualification desirable.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Good timekeeping, a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends and overtime when required.
