Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring the bar area is well-maintained and organised. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and glassware.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking orders and answering queries.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any inventory shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
