Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Room Attendant - Housekeeping to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment within the hospitality sector. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and guests
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linen as required
Follow established procedures to meet the organisation’s standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Skills

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organisation
Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
Knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning chemicals is beneficial
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
Friendly demeanour with good communication skills
Ability to work flexibly during scheduled hours, including weekends if required
