Studio Assistant & Content Creator Hartfield Hub - Wimbledon, South West London Part-time (approx. 2 days per week) - London Living Wage / Flexible zero-hours or freelance

The role

We're looking for someone to be the creative eyes and ears of our studio. Your main job is to capture and create content that builds the profile of Hartfield Hub, a photo and film studio and event space in Wimbledon. That means filming, shooting, editing and delivering consistently to our marketing lead, not waiting for big moments but finding the interesting stuff in the everyday running of a working studio.

You'll work alongside our marketing and community manager to plan and produce content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, our newsletter and website blog. You'll cover the events we host, document day-to-day studio life, and help communicate what we offer to new audiences.

This is a hands-on role in a small team, so alongside the content work you'll also be part of the daily running of the space. That means helping to keep the studios clean and ready between bookings, greeting and looking after guests, making and serving drinks from our coffee menu, and occasionally handling booking enquiries and payments. Everyone here does a bit of everything.

Days are around 10 hours but can differ depending on bookings and this role will be starting at 2 days a week, with the potential to increase depending on how things go and studio demand.

What you'll be doing

Filming and editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok, capturing behind-the-scenes studio life, shoots in progress, events and anything in between. Photographing the space, events and day-to-day moments for use across social media, the website and marketing materials. Working with our marketing manager to plan content calendars, write newsletter copy, produce LinkedIn posts and contribute to the blog. Covering and promoting live events, workshops and classes hosted at the studio. Maintaining the studios between bookings, ensuring spaces are clean, reset and guest-ready. Welcoming guests on arrival, making sure they have everything they need, and providing a great experience throughout their booking. Preparing and serving drinks from our coffee menu and upselling where it feels natural. Handling booking enquiries and processing payments when needed.

What we're looking for

Someone who genuinely enjoys creating content and has a portfolio, even a personal one, that shows they can shoot, edit and post engaging work. A good eye for what makes something watchable or shareable, with strong visual aesthetics and an awareness of what's trending across TikTok and Instagram in the photography, events and creative spaces. Confidence with video editing tools, whether that's CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut or similar. Keen eye on aesthetics and design. Basic knowledge of photography and video equipment is helpful but we can teach you the studio-specific stuff. Hospitality or cafe experience is preferred since you'll be looking after guests and serving drinks. Someone who's comfortable around people, naturally warm, and can make guests feel welcome. Self-motivated and able to manage your own time across content and operational tasks without needing constant direction. Happy working in a small team where no task is too small.
