With a strong reputation for professionalism and safety compliance, we are looking to strengthen our leadership team with an experienced Commercial Manager.
The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute and driven with scaffolding industry Quantity Surveyor/ estimator experience to oversee the financial and contractual performance of our projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for maximising profitability, managing risk, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all commercial aspects of scaffolding projects from tender to final account
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
- Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts
- Lead and support estimating and quantity surveying functions
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Support business development and tender submissions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role within the scaffolding industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent negotiation and financial management skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Relevant degree (Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or similar)
- Experience working with main contractors and developers
- Strong understanding of scaffolding regulations and compliance
