Vehicle Inspector / Vehicle Purchasing Agent

We are looking for a confident and knowledgeable Vehicle Inspector to join our growing team.

The role involves visiting customers’ homes to inspect vehicles that are being considered for purchase. You must have a strong eye for detail and be able to identify cosmetic, structural, and mechanical defects accurately.

Job Responsibilities

Travel to customers’ homes to inspect vehicles
Carry out full visual vehicle inspections
Identify bodywork damage, paint defects, rust, accident damage, and interior wear
Check for possible mechanical faults and warning signs
Assess overall vehicle condition and value
Communicate professionally with customers
Represent the company in a professional manner
Assist with vehicle purchasing decisions

Requirements

Strong knowledge of vehicles and the motor trade
Good understanding of mechanical issues and vehicle condition
Excellent attention to detail
Previous sales experience preferred
Confident speaking with customers
Full UK driving licence required
Must have your own vehicle to begin with
