As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join our Conveyancing Department.
No previous legal or conveyancing experience is required – we are looking for someone who is organised, motivated and eager to learn. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the legal industry.

The Role
You will play a key role in our Post Completion Team by carrying out the administrative tasks required after a property transaction has completed. Your responsibilities will help ensure that matters are progressed efficiently through to final registration and closure.
In practice, you will be responsible for managing a range of post-completion processes, including preparing applications, liaising with third parties, monitoring outstanding matters and ensuring deadlines are met. Your attention to detail and organisation will help ensure every file is completed accurately and efficiently, while the legal team focuses on advising clients and progressing new transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting applications to HM Land Registry following completion.
- Monitoring Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions in a timely manner.
- Updating clients, lenders and other interested parties once registrations have been completed.
- Requesting and processing title information and official copies.
- Ensuring completed matters are accurately closed in accordance with the firm's procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating the case management system with notes, tasks and key dates.
- Liaising with HM Land Registry, mortgage lenders, developers, management companies and other third parties as required.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of notices to landlords and management companies.
- Ensuring all post-completion work is completed within required timescales and in accordance with lender and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and escalating any issues, delays or discrepancies to the Post Completion Team Leader or fee earner where appropriate.
- Providing administrative support to the wider Conveyancing Department as required.
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail across all aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will have:
- No previous legal or conveyancing experience is required; full training will be provided.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks accurately.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- The ability to follow structured processes and procedures consistently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Confidence using digital systems and technology, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
