Location: Hedge End, Southampton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

As Recruitment Lead, you will be accountable for the design, performance and execution of the recruitment function, ensuring the business attracts and retains high-quality talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
You will lead and develop the recruitment team, provide strategic recruitment advice to senior stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve hiring performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver recruitment strategies aligned with business growth and workforce planning.
- Lead, coach and support the recruitment team, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR and senior management to provide recruitment expertise and workforce planning insights.
- Oversee recruitment systems, processes and KPIs to ensure an efficient, high-quality hiring experience.
- Monitor market trends, salary benchmarking and recruitment performance metrics to inform hiring decisions.
- Manage team resources, absence and holiday planning to ensure consistent recruitment delivery.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience leading a recruitment or talent acquisition function in a fast-paced environment (minimum 2 years).
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategy, workforce planning and talent attraction.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using recruitment data and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, present insights to leadership teams and drive results.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience using Access Recruit and Screening systems.
- Previous recruitment experience within the Health & Social Care sector.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns.
- Knowledge of ATS platforms and recruitment technology.
