Job Description

We are hiring an Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of luxury residential and heritage projects in the Cotswolds and South West. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious developments, ensuring financial success while preserving historic and listed buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for high-end residential and heritage projects.
Perform cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to optimize project profitability.
Handle subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and payment processes.
Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts with precision.
Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and clients to meet project goals.
Ensure compliance with heritage regulations and listed building standards.
Provide detailed financial reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent).
3-5 years+ of quantity surveying experience, preferably in high-end residential or heritage construction.
Strong knowledge of construction costs, JCT contracts, and commercial management.
Familiarity with heritage/listed building regulations and conservation practices (preferred).
Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Excel) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Valid UK driving license (travel required across Cotswolds/South West).
SMSTS or similar health and safety certification (advantageous).
