The Role
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and team-focused Dental Nurse to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
You will play a key role in supporting clinicians, maintaining clinical excellence, and ensuring every patient has a positive experience.
The role will be split across two of our practices to support the team to cover holiday and weekend shfits.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to a high clinical standard
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilised and maintained in line with HTM 01-05 and infection control protocols
- Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records using practice software (dentally)
- Support reception and administrative duties where required
- Manage stock levels and ensure clinical areas are fully equipped
- Deliver a warm, professional, and reassuring experience for all patients
What We’re Looking For
- Apprentice/Trainee/Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered or working towards registration)
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- High attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach
- Organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Confident using dental software systems (e.g. SOE/Dentally or similar)
- A genuine passion for dentistry and delivering high standards of care
