The School is seeking to recruit an ambitious part-time (0.5) staff member with an active interest in teaching, research and enterprise. Only those who are themselves professional qualified (hold a JNC recognised professional qualification in youth and community work) and experienced in youth and community work will be considered for shortlisting. The School includes a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Childhood and Youth Studies, with a postgraduate portfolio leading to JNC recognised PSRB qualifications.
For this post we require a youthwork specialist who has experience in youth and community work. The postholder will teach on our Childhood and Youth professional qualifications and undertake work-base/placement visits. The postholder will play a key role in the development of our provision across the portfolio. A specialism in youth and community work is essential for this post. This role includes leadership of our postgraduate JNC provision.
You will require knowledge and understanding of national and international perspectives, and areas of contemporary research and development in the field of childhood and youth studies. You will have substantial professional experience, and a publication record commensurate with your grade and role.
