Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing a variety of furniture pieces in residential and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in joinery, shop fitting, handyman or related trades to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment. The position involves traveling the UK and Europe fitting office furniture.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fit furniture components according to specifications and technical drawings
Install furniture items securely in various locations, ensuring proper alignment
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively
Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met within specified timeframes
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to furniture fitting
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation processes
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a hands-on position within the construction and furniture fitting industry. All positions are paid accordingly.

Pay: Up to £15.50 per hour
