County Foods is a successful and growing supplier of fresh meat, delicatessen products, frozen foods, and dry goods, serving over 500 customers across Dorset and the surrounding areas. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join our busy and friendly distribution team.

The Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen food products to a variety of customers including restaurants, hotels, pubs, cafés, schools, and other catering establishments.
You can expect to complete approximately 20-30 deliveries per day, ensuring goods are delivered accurately, safely, and on time.
As one of the key faces of County Foods, you will play an important role in maintaining strong relationships with our customers through professional and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering fresh, frozen, and ambient products to customers across the region
- Completing approximately 20-30 deliveries per day
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Checking delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any issues promptly
- Working closely with the transport and customer service teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Working Hours
We have opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis.
Full-Time
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Saturday
- Start times between 5:30am and 6:30am
- Finish times between 1:30pm and 2:30pm
- 5-day working week with one allocated weekday off (Saturday working required)
Part-Time requests would be the same hours and need to include a Saturday shift
Additional hours and 6-day working opportunities may be available for those who wish to increase their earnings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience, ideally within the foodservice or distribution industry
- Good knowledge of roads and routes within a 50-mile radius of Poole
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- A good standard of spoken and written English
- The ability to build positive relationships with customers
- A positive, hardworking, and reliable attitude
- A professional appearance and approachable manner
- The ability to lift and carry products up to 20kg
