Job Title: Night Shift Ambient Manager
Hours of Work:
· 40 hours per week, Permanent - Full Time
· Sunday – Thursday
· 9.00pm – 5.30am with a 30-minute break + additional ‘cold’ breaks
Salary: £36,850 per annum (potentially negotiable dependent on experience)
Bonuses: £2500 per annum
Holidays: 25 Annual Days + 3 x Bank Holidays (New Year’s Day, Christmas Day & Boxing Day)
Description: Responsible for the following:
· Ownership of the Foodservice Warehouse (pick and replenishment) and managing a team of up to 25 operatives
· Security and H&S of the Foodservice building inclusive of the chiller warehouse.
· Stock location, inventory and inventory investigation of Foodservice Warehouse
· Managing Foodservice replenishment
· Managing all aspects of picking and quality of cage/pallet stacking.
· Performance reviews of all night shift Foodservice staff and investigation of all disciplinary procedures, conduct and capability issues
Essential Skills/Requirements:
· Experience and skills in all aspects of Warehousing, including Health and Safety, Goods-Inwards, Inventory Management, Staff Training and KPI Management
· Experience in using Warehouse Management Systems
· Proven track record of success at Supervisor/manager level
· Proven knowledge of how to manage stock shrinkage, wastage and provide examples of inventory management (Perpetual inventory, implementation of WMS etc)
· KPI Management
· Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
· Proven knowledge of managing Health & Safety within a department
· Proven ability to guide, assist and support teams of employees, to achieve targets and goals
· Hands-on dedication to staff training and championing new ideas
· Ability to cope under pressure
· Must be a self-starter and have the organisational skills to organise and plan their week through the guidance of the Operations Manager
Desirable Skills/Requirements:
· Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licences
· Understanding of warehouse standards and procedures
