Reactive Zero Two delivers maintenance, repairs and project work for major UK retail, hospitality and logistics clients. We use our own skilled trades team to get the job done properly and we are passionate about the high-quality service we deliver to all of our customers.
The role
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team.
This is a hybrid role with your time expected to be split, 70/30, between driving and labouring on site and roles within the yard. A key part of your role will be the timely and safe delivery of tools, materials, and equipment to our various project sites and when not undertaking driving duties, you will be based on-site, working alongside our skilled tradespeople as a hands-on labourer.
What you will need;
- Driving License - You must have a full, clean UK driving license with no penalties or endorsements.
- Driving Experience - You must have a minimum of three years of driving experience.
- Experience - No previous construction experience is essential; we just need a can-do positive attitude to get involved with teams on site.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team
Pay
Competitive basic salary, with the starting salary being negotiable based on the successful candidate's skills, qualifications in their chosen trades, their trade experience, and overall suitability for the role. Candidates holding recognised qualifications in one or more trades and demonstrating competency across multiple disciplines may be considered for the upper end of the salary range.
Realistic total earnings: £30,000 – £45,000+
(including overtime, call-out fees for attending out-of-hours work, and bonus schemes)
- 7.5% bonus scheme available
- Regular overtime available and paid at double time
- Additional consideration may be given to candidates with multiple trade disciplines, specialist skills, or extensive relevant experience
