Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes on a variety of commercial projects, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for painting and a strong understanding of tools and equipment used in the trade. Candidates must be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and possess a keen eye for detail to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion.
Operate spray guns and other painting equipment efficiently to apply coatings evenly across large surfaces.
Mix paints, and other coatings according to specifications to achieve desired colours and finishes.
Use hand tools and power tools to assist in surface preparation and finishing tasks.
Perform heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for painting projects.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the project duration.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups or corrections as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial painting or related trade roles is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating spray equipment and hand/power tools.
Proficiency with hand tools
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights.
Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting activities is desirable. This position offers an engaging environment where craftsmanship is valued, providing opportunities for professional growth within the industry.

Pay: £13.72-£19.00 per hour
