Admin & Personal Assistant to the Business Owner
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Salary: £13.50–£16.00 per hour, depending on experience, organisation skills and responsibilities
Hours: Part-time or full-time hours available

We are looking for a highly organised, reliable and proactive Admin & Personal Assistant to become the right-hand person to the business owner and support the day-to-day running of our growing gymnastics, dance and fitness business.
This is an ideal role for someone who is early in their admin or PA career but has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to stay organised in a busy, fast-moving environment. Full training will be provided, but the right person must be willing to learn, take initiative and take ownership of tasks once trained.
The role will involve a mixture of general administration, customer communication, bookings, diary support and personal assistant duties. You will play an important part in helping the business owner stay organised, follow up on tasks and ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the business owner’s right-hand support with day-to-day organisation and follow-up tasks
- Managing emails, messages and general enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Supporting class bookings, registers, attendance records and customer information
- Helping with parent/customer communication, reminders and follow-up messages
- Supporting diary management, appointments, meetings and task reminders
- Preparing documents, forms, letters, spreadsheets and basic reports
- Assisting with staff rotas, timetables and internal communication
- Keeping admin systems accurate, up to date and well organised
- Supporting termly admin, class changes, new starters and customer updates
- Helping with event, camp, workshop and party administration
- Supporting basic finance/admin tasks such as payment checks, invoices or booking records where required
- Assisting with recruitment admin, staff onboarding documents and training records
- Helping with social media scheduling, simple marketing tasks and customer updates where needed
- Supporting the smooth running of both gymnastics and dance/fitness programmes
- Carrying out general PA tasks to help the business owner manage workload and priorities
The Ideal Candidate Will Be
- Highly organised and able to keep track of multiple tasks
- Friendly, professional and confident communicating with parents, staff and customers
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
- Proactive and willing to use initiative rather than waiting to be asked
- Good with emails, documents, spreadsheets and basic computer systems
- Willing to learn new software, booking systems and processes
- Able to work independently once trained
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise tasks
- Positive, approachable and happy to help where needed
- Interested in working within a children’s activity, fitness, dance or education-based environment
Experience Required
Previous admin, reception, customer service, PA or office experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. We are happy to train the right person if they have the right attitude, strong organisation skills and a genuine willingness to learn.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being organised, likes variety and wants to become a trusted support person within a growing business.
