About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join the team to join both teams at Ground up and Manr.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in consistency, and enjoys cooking quality food to a high standard.
The contracted hours are 40 hours per week, however, additional hours may be available during busy periods, holidays, staff absence, or to support business needs. Flexibility is essential to cover both sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to Ground Up an Manr standards.
- Operate the grill and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food is prepared consistently and presented to company standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation, and deliveries.
- Follow all food safety, allergen, and HACCP procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
- Support other areas of the kitchen when required.
- Help minimise waste and report any stock shortages or equipment issues.

- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality food.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Working Hours
- 40 contracted hours per week.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Working days would mainly be Wednesday to Sunday.
- Additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the business and will be paid accordingly.
