Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Garden Maintenance Worker to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and care for gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas through pruning, and fertilising and litter picking.
Operate hand tools such as secateurs, spades, rakes, and hoes to perform routine gardening tasks.
Use power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers safely and efficiently.
General Garden maintenance
Keep work areas clean and organised, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.

Requirement

Proven experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems.
Growing experience or knowledge of plant care principles is advantageous.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks efficiently.
A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in horticulture and landscape aesthetics.
Relevant qualifications or certifications related to gardening or horticulture are a plus but not essential.
Must have a full uk clean driving license and be over the age of 28 for insurance purposes

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
