Job Overview
We are seeking a self employed Solar PV Electrician who is passionate about delivering a high quality installation with a focus on customer service to join our team Covering the North East of England.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Solar PV and Battery systems and components. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations.
About the role
- Company uniform
- 2 installs per week
- Working in a 2-3 man team to complete 2 Solar PV installations per week
- Domestic installations
- Ongoing training

Duties
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Install both electrical installation and roof installation
- Provide professional handovers to customers, explaining installations clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Required qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- EAL VRQ Domestic Installer or City & Guilds Level 3 (or similar) / NVQ Level 3 qualification
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
- Solar PV & Battery Storage qualification
Experience/skills
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Installing roof mounting system and solar panels (not necessary)
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, with the ability to adhere to site-specific safety procedures.
- Simple cable containment installation (PVC conduit & trunking)
