Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Podiatrist / Chiropodist to operate as a self-employed professional. The role involves providing specialised foot and lower limb healthcare services to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to manage their own schedule while delivering high-quality care. This position offers an excellent opportunity for autonomous practitioners to expand their practice within a supportive environment.

MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE OWN EQUIPMENT

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot and lower limb health, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
Perform clinical procedures such as nails, callouses, verucca treatment etc
Develop personalised treatment programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and management strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated with the latest developments in podiatry and incorporate best practices into daily work.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required to ensure holistic patient care.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex medical information clearly to patients of all ages.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective documentation and patient interaction.
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and relevant medical software.
Ability to teach patients about foot health and preventive measures in an engaging manner.
Organised with the ability to manage a flexible schedule efficiently.

Pay: £26,254.58-£49,275.50 per year
