We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramper) to join our team. This role involves long haul deliveries across various locations, primarily focusing on Amazon transportation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional drivers with a passion for driving and delivering high-quality service. Own vehicle assigned with fridge,microwave etc. We have snap account for parking etc.
Shifts are Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday these will be planned the Thursday before and available on your app to view. Most shifts are afternoon/evenings due to the

Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 lorries, box trailer transportation, across national routes.
- Conduct pre-journey checks to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
- ensuring loads are secure and sealed, ensuring stability during transit.
- Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with legal requirements.
- Adhere strictly to all driving regulations, including tachograph rules and working hours directives.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on route.
- Conduct post-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly.
- Need to pass a background check and drug/alcohol test
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, ideally previous experience of relay.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards within the UK.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving licence (Cat C+E) preffered maximum of 6 points for minor offences.
- Delivery driver experience preferred, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to use app to perform your job from stop to stop.
- Good organisational skills to manage routes and schedules effectively.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail during long-distance hauls.
