Full job description

The Role

We are looking for an organised and friendly Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day running of our domiciliary optometry service, ensuring appointments are efficiently scheduled, patient records are accurately maintained, and our clinicians are fully supported in delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries from patients, relatives, care homes, and healthcare professionals.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments and clinician diaries.
Plan and optimise daily visit routes for optometrists.
Maintain accurate patient records and databases.
Process administrative paperwork, referrals, and NHS documentation.
Liaise with care homes and community partners to coordinate clinics and visits.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding appointments, reports, and documentation.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve enquiries professionally.
Support compliance with GDPR, confidentiality, and company policies.
