Job Summary:
As the Front of House Manager at Healing Manor Hotel, you will be responsible for the overall running of the pub and restaurant, maintaining a 2-rosette accolade, and delivering a 5-star service. You will ensure that all practices follow compliance, health and safety, and food standards. You will drive sales and profitability, manage the Front of House (FOH) team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Profitability:
- Drive sales and profitability working with the Operations Management team and Sales
and Events manager.
- Ensure all FOH understand and engage with KPIs and business objectives.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of KPIs, including sales, staffing, and key points.
Customer Experience:
- Deliver exceptional customer experience and be the ambassador and mentor to all FOH
teams to ensure high-quality service and standards provision.
- Handling of any customer complaints and full resolution following the escalation

Restaurant Manager
- Take bookings, meet and greet customers, and deliver exceptional customer service
experiences.
Team Management:
- Assist in all management of the Front of House Team, including staff training and
development.
- Provide cover and support for annual leave of the Front of House Operations Manager
and Assistant Operations Manager.
- Rota planning and staff plans using the Homebase system.
- Induction, annual leave planning, and general team FOH team management.
Stock and Supplier Management:
- Assistance with stock management, supplier management, and procurement in
conjunction with the Assistant Operations Manager.
Compliance and Standards:
- Overseeing events and all daily food and beverage activities to ensure excellence.
- Compliance with license permissions and regulations, EHO regulations, Health & Safety,
and Fire Safety Regulations, and follow company operating policies and procedures.
- Update the relevant POS, booking, and review platforms: (EPOS), Till uploads and
updates.
- Implement and maintain Healing Manor Hotel’s front of house uniform standards.
- Agree changes with company management before implementation.
- Ensure food leaving the kitchen is well presented and service levels are maintained or
exceeded.
- Input on SOP development and accountability for team training updates following
changes.
