As our Business Development Executive, you'll take ownership of customer relationships, convert qualified sales opportunities into long-term customers and help drive sustainable revenue growth. You’ll own your own portfolio of customers while identifying and converting new business opportunities, giving you responsibility for both account growth and new customer acquisition. Working closely with our Sales & Commercial Coordinator, Marketing and Customer Services teams, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while helping achieve our commercial goals.
Success in this role relies on maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline, managing opportunities effectively through HubSpot and using CRM data to support accurate forecasting and customer development.

What You’ll Be Doing
Account Management and Business Development
· Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
· Build strong customer relationships through regular contact via Teams, telephone and email.
· Identify opportunities to increase customer spend and win new business from qualified leads.
· Support customers from their initial enquiry through to long-term account development.
Sales and Opportunity Management
· Prepare quotations and commercial proposals, following up opportunities to maximise conversion.
· Manage your sales pipeline using HubSpot, ensuring accurate forecasting and CRM records.
· Monitor pipeline performance and take proactive action to progress opportunities.
Collaboration
· Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services to ensure a smooth customer journey.
· Support customer onboarding and engage field sales colleagues where additional support will help secure or develop business.

· Conversion of sales opportunities and quotations.

· Effective pipeline management and CRM accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
· At least two years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
· A proven ability to build customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
· Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
· Experience managing multiple priorities and using CRM systems.
· Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
Desirable
· Experience using HubSpot.
· Experience within branded apparel, distribution, or a related industry.
· Sales forecasting and pipeline management experience.
· Comfortable conducting customer meetings via Teams and other digital platforms.
Location
Our office is based in Livingston and is not well served by public transport, so you’ll need to be able to travel to and from the site reliably. Hybrid working is available with an expectation of 3 days minimum in the office. Occasional travel to customer meetings or company events may be required.
