Local Business Development Manager

Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire

With over 30 years of industry expertise, Equip Global Supplies Ltd is a rapidly expanding force based in Market Rasen, operating as a key national distributor supplying goods all over the UK and ROI. Alongside our well-established agricultural hardware and automotive parts store, we have positioned ourselves as a leading name in industrial and commercial battery solutions. We also house a fully equipped fabrication shop and provide rapid hydraulic pipe repair and replacement services, combining decades of technical know-how to provide exceptional service.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to take ownership of our local trade sales and delivery operations. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working within agricultural dealerships, automotive parts, industrial hardware, or similar trade environments.

This is a hands-on role combining customer service, local deliveries and business development. Operating from a fully stocked company parts van, you will deliver products to existing customers while acting as a mobile representative for Equip Global Supplies. You'll build strong relationships with customers, identify additional sales opportunities during each visit, and introduce our products and services to prospective customers throughout the local area.

Alongside deliveries, you will be responsible for promoting our extensive range of agricultural hardware, automotive parts, industrial batteries, hydraulic services and fabrication capabilities. You'll become a familiar face to our local customer base, providing excellent service while helping to grow sales and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities across the local area through prospecting, networking and customer visits.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, trade accounts and commercial clients while identifying opportunities to grow existing business.
Sales & Account Management: Prepare quotations, follow up enquiries and manage customer accounts to maximise sales opportunities.
Market Development: Promote our full range of agricultural hardware, automotive parts, industrial batteries, hydraulic services and fabrication capabilities to both new and existing customers.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience within an agricultural dealer, industrial hardware, automotive parts or similar trade environment (local background is a bonus, but not a strict requirement).
Demonstrated experience in business development, field sales or account management.
A strong work ethic with a proactive approach to developing new business opportunities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Solid IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Excel, email systems and CRM or modern sales management software.
