Full job description

The Carlton Club, one of St James’s most prestigious private members’ clubs, is currently seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to join our exceptional team.

Basic salary: £30,950.00 per annum + discretionary staff fund

Hours of work:

* 40 hours per week

* 8-hour shifts, 8:00am-4:00pm

* 5 days per week, Tuesday - Saturday

Desired Skills & Experience:

* The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in Housekeeping either within a private members club or 4/5* hotel;

* Excellent attention to detail;

* Willingness to do any aspects of the job;

* Friendly, flexible and positive attitude with ability to work on your own and within a team.

Main Responsibilities – Cleaning Bedrooms

* Support the Senior Housekeeper and the wider Housekeeping team;

* Clean and prepare all guest bedrooms to a consistently high standard;

* Change bed linen and make beds to the required standard;

* Dust, vacuum and clean all bedroom furniture, fixtures and surfaces;

* Clean bathrooms and replenish toiletries and guest amenities as required;

* Check bedrooms for maintenance issues and report any faults promptly;

* Ensure bedrooms are fully prepared and ready prior to Member and guest check-in.
