Our Manchester architecture studio forms part of a thriving Northwest hub of around 300 professionals working across architecture, engineering and design disciplines. Covering sectors including Education, Commercial, Energy, Defence, and Workplace, our teams collaborate closely to deliver integrated solutions to complex challenges.
You would be working with Architects, Architectural Technologists, Interior Designers, Structural and Building Services Engineers, Process Engineers, Project Managers and Cost Consultants with a balanced mix of graduates through to senior professionals and directors. You will join our Architecture team, contributing to large-scale, high-profile UK and international projects. Working closely with architects and designers, you will support the delivery of innovative and sustainable design solutions. As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, you will assist project teams across a range of RIBA stages, gaining valuable experience within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, curious and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to developing their skills as part of our team. Day-to-Day Activities

Assist architects in the development of design concepts, drawings and technical documentation using Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (training provided where required).
- Assist in the preparation of reports, bid documents and design proposals.

Prepare presentations, diagrams and illustrations to communicate design ideas, and storytelling.

Assist in ensuring designs comply with relevant statutory, regulatory and planning requirements.

Coordinate with consultants and internal disciplines to maintain design quality and consistency.

Contribute to internal and client meetings.

Contribute to an exciting and dynamic studio culture through proactive involvement delivering our programme of knowledge sharing, personal development, volunteering and social events.
You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven Part 1 Graduate with a flexible approach and a strong appetite to learn. You are a thoughtful and creative designer with an emerging portfolio, keen to gain experience across a range of sectors and project scales within a collaborative team.
Skills and Experience

ARB/RIBA Part 1 qualification.

A portfolio highlighting your past projects is required as part of the application.
