Customer Sales Representative

We are representing a growing company in Plymouth that specialises in face-to-face customer acquisition through retail promotions, pop-up activations, and live event campaigns. They are expanding due to increased demand and are looking for Customer Sales Representatives who can bring energy, confidence, and a strong people-first approach to the team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing — not watching.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
You won’t be behind a desk or waiting for customers to come to you.
You’ll be positioned in busy retail environments and event spaces, actively engaging with the public, starting conversations, and representing campaigns that people interact with every day.
Some days you’ll be at in-store promotional stands, other days at pop-up activations or local events — the environment changes, but the focus stays the same: connect, engage, and deliver a great customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Approaching and engaging customers in a confident, professional way
- Creating natural conversations that lead to genuine interest
- Presenting products, services, or campaigns clearly and accurately
- Identifying customer needs and tailoring your approach accordingly
- Guiding customers through decisions and completing sign-ups
- Working towards individual and team-based performance targets
- Maintaining a high standard of brand representation at all times
You’ll be coached on how to read people, handle objections, and improve your results consistently — this is where real development happens.
