As a Parts Advisor Apprentice, you'll play a vital role in keeping our dealership running smoothly. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll gain hands-on experience, build valuable technical knowledge and develop exceptional customer service skills, all while working towards a recognised qualification.
Based at our ŠKODA dealership in Cramlington, you'll become part of a friendly, supportive team that is committed to helping you succeed.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering excellent customer service to both retail and trade customers.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Parts Department.
- Receiving, checking, storing and organising vehicle parts and workshop equipment.
- Picking and supplying parts for our Service and Workshop teams.
- Processing customer orders, payments and returns accurately.
- Maintaining stock records and helping manage inventory.
- Creating attractive parts displays and promotions.
- Working closely with our Sales and Aftersales teams to ensure every customer receives outstanding service.
What you'll learn
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop a strong understanding of genuine ŠKODA parts, learning how they work, where they're used and why they're essential to vehicle performance and safety.
You'll gain experience working both behind the scenes managing stock and at the front counter helping customers and colleagues, giving you a broad range of skills for a successful career in the automotive industry.
What we're looking for
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy solving problems and take pride in delivering great customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence working as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.
