About the Role
We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminium to high quality standards
- Carrying out first-off and final inspections to ensure quality compliance
- Ability to Read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
- Working to deadlines using your own initiative
- Supporting and contributing to the wider welding team
- Working on client sites throughout the UK when required
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminium
- Experience with thin gauge and heavy gauge welding
- Background in sheet metal fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Competent using hand and power tools
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements
- Confident communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Level 3 Welding Qualification desirable
- Experienced Level 2 welders considered
- Forklift licence advantageous
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
- Overtime required when necessary
