Accounts Payable Coordinator
Salary: £30,000 + Study Allowance
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract: Permanent | Full Time | 37.5 hours per week
The Role:
An Accounts Payable Coordinator is required to support the Finance team in maintaining accurate and timely processing of supplier and subcontractor invoices, managing purchase ledger records, processing payments, and resolving invoice-related queries. This role is ideal for someone with previous Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger experience who is detail-oriented, highly organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment within a growing organisation.
Previous experience in subcontractor management and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is highly desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices in a timely manner.

Generating supplier and subcontractor payments.

Working collaboratively with the commercial department to confirm order details.

Maintain accurate invoicing records and update supplier billing information.

Respond to and resolve invoice-related queries with internal teams.

Maintain shared excel trackers and track sheets.

Support the month-end accrual and GRNI process.

Assist with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) administration and compliance.

Assist with cashflow forecasting of payments.
What You’ll Need:

Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role.

Strong Excel skills.

Ability to quickly adapt to new accounting or ERP systems.

Good understanding of the invoicing processes and basic financial principles.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with COINS is advantageous but not essential.
