Summary

We are seeking a Litigation and Family Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive to join our team in Newbridge. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a reputable legal practice.
Responsibilities

· Managing a mixed caseload of litigation matters and family law files from instruction to resolution

· Advising clients on disputes including contract issues, property matters, debt recovery, and contentious probate

· Drafting pleadings and legal documents including statements of case, applications, witness statements, and settlement agreements

· Conducting advocacy at hearings where appropriate

· Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties

· Negotiating settlements and representing clients in mediation

· Handling family law matters such as divorce, financial remedy and cohabitation agreements/disputes.

· Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm-wide procedures

· Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships

· Dealing with correspondence

Skills

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Ability to use own initiative but to know when to seek advice

· Ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritise and manage a busy workload

· Working with other team members to achieve an outcome.

· Knowledge of case management systems, including HMRC portals.
