Senior Care Assistant - Days/Nights Part Time- Required at Rose Lodge Care Home in Market Deeping Near Peterborough, Part of The Country Court Family

We are no longer accepting overseas applications for sponsorship.

Hours: 22 Days/Nights Hours per week, working weekends on rota

Named after our co-founder Roshan, Rose Lodge Care Home in Market Deeping epitomises the Country Court philosophy of ‘Our family, caring for yours’. Our home has recently been refurbished inside and out, offering luxury facilities in a calming, homely environment. This, coupled with our compassionate care team led by the Manager, means that residents enjoy a safe and comfortable life, with a varied activity and enrichment programme to ensure everyone gets the most out of every day at Rose Lodge.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Supporting residents at meals time
Mentor & assist new employees.
Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.
Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

ABOUT YOU
We want someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us to create the best person-centred environment for our residents. You’ll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team.

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
Have a friendly & caring attitude.
Experience of administrating medication
Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
